ROCKSTAR NORTH, the award winning developer behind Grand Theft Auto, is looking to expand their experienced and talented teams working out of the studio in Edinburgh


Description

Rockstar North is looking for an experienced Technical Artist. The successful candidate will work developing pipelines, techniques & workflows through close collaboration with our Art and Programming teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Proactively use knowledge and experience to identify and solve problems before they affect the development team
  • Implement new techniques that increase art quality and efficiency across disciplines
  • Communicate solutions to art and programming teams
  • Document and knowledge share these solutions

Required Experience/Skills:
  • Industry experience as a technical artist with knowledge of engines and art pipelines
  • Possess strong creative problem solving skills
  • Proficient with 3ds Max and Photoshop to be able to produce game quality assets
  • Proficient with MaxScript to be able to prototype tools
  • Ability to clearly communicate with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software applications
