Was giving Ping a go today, and it seems like it could be cool, at least eventually! We should totally post up our profiles! Its missing a lot of features and integration issues, but has potential i think? I got nuthin... here's my profile! lets follow eachother :)

    It's a poor last.fm copy, as far as I can tell. I'd rather they integrate that, than start their own derivative social network.
    My biggest problem with it is that it's curated. Meaning they invite artists to make a profile, meaning... well, it's Lady Gage and Katy Perry right now, and smaller bands likely won't ever be included.
    As it stands, I can't see it appealing to anyone but massive apple fanboys.
