There's a write-up of a mod for Looking Glass's classic System Shock available here which gives the player mouse-look and the traditional 'wasd' move controls, as well as customiseable keys and support for multiple resolutions.

I'm sorry if some of you young'uns don't see what all the fuss is about- but for an old fart like me it's fucking heaven.

Is it weird that I actually like the original control setup? I revisited SS again maybe a year or two ago, and after the initial five minutes of fumbling with the keys again, everything just fell back into place.
