No, I'm not high.
Does anybody else get blood shot eyes often? I just went and looked in the mirror. My eye is practically bleeding. It doesn't go away quickly either. My one eye has been blood shot for at least a week now.
Any advice to avoid getting them or getting rid of them? I can only figure it's from being on the pc most of my day.

Thats currently the best advice I can give you.

Most importantly, it's a terrible idea to take medical advice from random people on the internet. Especially polycount.
You should see a doctor.
I didn't intend this post to be a blog like post, my bad for doing so. I thought maybe others would be in the same boat. Regardless, thanks. I'll ask Dr. Google.
rest your sight and put some cotton with water on it for half an hour.
This sounds promising, brb.
and yeah, go to a clinic it's if you're actually in Ontario
mostly just intense useage (or bad light conditions)
burning eyes, getting slightly overal red, or bigger spots when followed by some intense gaming ect.
right now i can feel my eyemuscles being overworked so im keeping my computer useage light.
get away from a screen for a few days and see how it goes. build it up slowly after with some good breaks. oh and maybe take a nap for an hour during the day, just close your eyes and rest them for a bit.
again, this is from my exp, if your eyes start bleeding and fall out im not to blame. disclamerz*
That is what I thought...
1. Fold up your eye-lids.
2. Pull out your eyes with the help of Alnico tongs.
3. Put them in lukewarm distilled water for 30-35 minutes.
4. Rinse them with a solution of tamarind chutney and garlic sauce, might wanna add vinegar.
5. Hold them under cold flowing water, just to contract the nerves.
6. Pop them back.
Tada!

Or maybe someone is just farting on your pillow...
Stay away from Visine and others that 'get the red out'. All those do is constrict the capillaries and don't actually solve anything. My eye doctor warned against them for that reason. Only use them for family photos or whatever as a temporary situation.
The absolute BEST remedy I've found is Optive eye drops. They are more of a lubricant and give me relief for 5+ hours. It's like my eyes drank a big cup of quenching water!
About $7 a bottle. Mine usually last a few months. A couple drops in each eye a day and you're good to go.
(p.s. Don't use them and go to sleep. You will wake up with gummy eyes.)
also eye drops definitely help, but i heard they're bad for you over time. free health care
Tbh, I really don't know how the health care system in Canada really works. All I know is that because I'm not in school and I don't have a job with benefits I'm not covered. Walk in clinics are free, but drugs are not.
Snemmy, I wish I had read your post before going out and buying some 'reduce redness drops' along with a roast beef and cheddar sandwich. The drops did reduce the redness but made my eyes feel slightly different from the norm. And actually I decided to go buy them just so I could get away from my pc.
There is an air freshener in my room but has not yet been used.. however there is the slight possibility of someone passing gas on my 1000 thread count Italian silk goose down filled pillow. that bastard!
