Deep Paint 3D color loss

I noticed DP loses color whenever it exports maps, whether directly to PS or to a file (TGA, PNG, BMP, etc.). Maybe once its not a big deal but after saving over and over you lose quite a bit. It's like it has its own palette if filters the images through. Has anyone else noticed this? any way around it?
