Hey polycount!
This is my latest game character, Mary the catgirl barbarian! :D She's loosely based on my Dungeons & Dragons character!

Check out the animation on artstation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/wR60O
Hope you like it!

Original post:
Hey everyone! This is my current personal project. It's my D&D character Mary, who's a catgirl barbarian :D She's gonna be an animated game character.

As of now I've finished the high poly sculpt, here's some pictures:

Feedback would be much appreciated! She's also on artstation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Xr91n

Next up is retopo! She's going to have a big ass sword as well.

So when you say catgirl, unless it's houseruled, I'm assuming you're character is actually a Razorclaw Shifter? The beauty of Dungeons and Dragons is, of course, that you can make your character be whatever you want and look however you want, and I realise that this is to a certain degree a matter of opinion, but the artwork given for Razorclaw shifters shows them as very muscular, athletic characters and you've opted to give her a tiny waist and thicc booty. I understand that it's a stylisation (one that's a dime a dozen) but for me at least it makes it far less believable.

Also the face seems a little odd, around the mouth. I understand the shapes that you've put there but cats' mouths don't curve up to a point like that. The divide comes down to the top of the mouth in a straight line, but it's all connected still. *Then* it moves outward at an angle as demonstrated by this cutie: It's super difficult to anthropomorphise a snout like that, but I think it could be improved if you work on the shapes of the upper "lip" area. Also consider the curvature of the snout and how that attaches to the cheeks.

@Aiyos Thanks for the feedback! Her race is houseruled, but closer to a Tabaxi from Volo's guide. Anyway I probably shouldn't have mentioned D&D at all, since I wasn't trying to be faithful to it in any way :D

Regarding the mouth, it might be a bit hard to see, but the mouth actually IS like that. Here's a better picture:

This is a mistake I've done in the past though :D

I finished my thesis and I'm almost done with school, so I've had more time to work on this lately! I finished retopology and UVs, and baked some maps in substance painter. She's 19,739 tris. Textures are next! The bake wasn't 100% clean, so I'll have to do some cleanup as well.

Textures! I'm entering the phase now where I start to hate my own creation, so I want to finish it as soon as I can

    Hey everyone!
I finished rigging this character on monday, but something didn't feel quite right about her. I decided to follow my gut and go through a major design overhaul. I worked my ass off all week, and she's finally done! I'm really proud of her! Check it out:

I'm still open to post mortem criticism :D
