Comp Entry - Shadow Blade

For my entry, I'm sculpting the Shadow Blade. This seems simple enough for you other artist but I'm choosing this model so I can show off some of my prowess with electronics and finishing. I'm sculpting the base model through Fusion 360 then will print on my own printer before eventually loading it into Shapeways.

Basic Model done - time for some detailing and tolerances

Here's a cross section of the build focusing on the cutouts made for the electronics. I've split the blade in 2 for now so that it can fit on my printer bed. I've made the blade so that it all fits together neatly without electronics but I will print almost everything in 2 pieces so that it can be assembled around the electronics. The only piece that doesn't fit that well is the battery but I wanted something that could retain a decent charge for the lights. A smaller battery can be used of course.

Here's a print of the blade - printed in 2 sections out of Translucent PLA+. I may need to redo this without an infill for better lighting.
