[Maya] Am I unintentionally including transparency in my textures?

As you can see below, all my material attributes in my textures are set to zero. However my plant is exhibiting transluecency. How is this possible when the material attributes are zero'd out?

They're not zero'd, there's a transparency input! Click the little arrow|box icon and it'll take you to where the transparency is being generated.

Gotcha. I clicked on the box/arrow next to transparency. I've toyed with the color balance attributes to no avail. I'm not quite sure if I'm following you on what to do next.

No idea what you're looking to do. You want to remove the alpha? Then break the connection with the shader, right click the arrow|box and click break connection.

Or you could open up Hypershade and do the same thing but just select the wire from the texture to the transparency slot and hit delete.
