Perforce setup guide for indies? Can Anyone help?

Ok so it is obvious that perforce is not working for our studio. We tried setting it up by the movies on the perforce website but that gives constant issues. Each line of c++ code that is added to the engine breaks the game after upload.

Are there any teams that work successfull with perforce and can they help a guy in need out?

i want to add to that that it is with unreal engine 4.17 or 4.18 we had these bad experiences
