Okay, guys! Im going to illustrate Taric as an old Cosmic god, like a protector of the Universal scale !
Publishing my first sketches. Here just process of research, first iteration of it

So, firstly i have decided that I don't want to make a desing with gems, and i go with more epic scales, like planets, stars and the galaxies are spinning around my character, and his body should shine like under fresnel shader xD
The colossus looks pretty holistic, but it feels like more Galio skin then Taric.
My first sketches be like:
After that i pick all Cosmic skins together and it helps me to understand problem much better
I have got three designs to choose from!
First one looks more like Rakan and Xayah, he is one of super developed race, his body are encrusted with gold. He leaves an impression of a cool guy, but not god at all.
The last one - hmm, and i dont really find him attractive or catching!
And the middle one - My favourite here. His body is a pure space! He has a very rare armor and costume. By the way i have found the original design of cosmic skins with "black hole" elements are pretty interesting and tried to merge it with my early desings.
And the spheres should be less contrast for sure!
And what i have got
Okay! Now im done, its enough for me to close all the gaps, before i start illustration.

So I'm gonna tell you what I've done with "pre production" stage. I've found pose and composition that I like.
But first, I'll show you some steps and sketches I did during the exploration:

I think this one give the right feelings about Taric.
There are strong and reliance pose, the angle helps us to recognize him as a powerfull being, the facial expression should say us that "everything is allright" and his hair are beautiful and shiny as they sould be
It seems like he can protect me and there will be no worries at all xD

2nd looks too much like Braum's splash
3rd is dynamic and really cool.
4th is good and definetely Taric-esque, but I feel like the layout could be a little better. Maybe some planets or shooting stars in the foreground on the left ?
