I decided to join the community prop challenge hosted by Dinusty. The task was to recreate a prop console which was made for the last fallout game. Concept was provided by Ilya Nazarov. I tried to stick to the concept as close as possible. This is my last progress so far. The Model was created in Modo. For texturing I will use substance painter. I am already done with the Lowpoly. I decided to go for a little higher polycount, because it will be not used in any engine.
DiNusty told us we can post our progress here as well. Also I can promote his challenge a bit. Feel free to join him on DIscord. Hope you guys like it.

I baked the normal map today and I am pretty happy with the result. First try had some small issues in the projection, but i could fix all errors pretty fast and easy. Here is what I came up with.
I decided to try out substance painter the first time and i had really a good time with it. I was pretty impressed, how fast and easy you can archive such things. I think I am nearly done with the texturing. So It will be very cool if you have some ideas. I am open for everything. I will do a floor next for presenting the model and then I will work on the presentation. Here is my new progress ( the image is a little bit washed out because of my screenshot tool. I will do some highres screenshots later. )
Here is a small update of my challenge entry. There are not a lot of changes. I brought the prop into marm set and made a test scene to see how everything looks. I am also currently working on some small scenery.
