Nice textures so far but I would say that at the minute your gold is reading a little flat and non-metallic. Would be nice to see some smaller meshes breaking up the symmetry. perhaps wall sconces, fireplace, crumbling stone etc.
This is some really good stuff The textures so far are nice and clean too, would be cool if you added some braziers, i agree will Jarran tho, try to add a few darker and lighter values to the textures to give a little more depth to them
im working with the floor right now. My intitial thought was to just have a plain stone texture as floor, to make it looked like the room was just carved out. But that looked pretty boring, so I made this tile instead. Ofc it doesn't get that carved look now...
I think i'm pretty much done with the base room now, just a long hall. I will start adding props now, shields on the walls, torches... and what else I can think of would fit here.
Yes, i agree on the roof. I want it to have a "hewn from rock" feel, so I will first try to just add a bunch of polygons so it looks like organic rock.
i imagine there are quite a few things you haven't modeled yet but plan to but just in case, a few things is add are some bitchin wall sconces a big elaborate chair. several weapon racks I'd also personally put something in the negative space between the pillars (not in front of the all) to break up the emptiness.
or what about a river of magna that goes into a royal golden forge right in front of the throne that only the king is allowed to used because it's imbued with some...dope...stuff?
I'd really make this thing as gaudy as possible, not just another throne room. Make it dwarven ass royal throne room!
nice work! i wanna suggest to add some props to the scene, because it`s feel kinda empty. maybe add some braziers beside of columns and some ancient stylized carpet that will lie on this road to main door. mb replace column near door to some statue of warriors?
