Prototype Cold War Stamped Battle Rifle

howdy folks! 

i started mocking up some kind of sheet metal cold war .308 battle rifle. i was going for something kind of half-way between a fal and an ar-180, my final goal is a fallout 4 mod if i can find an animator.

any crits before i go ahead and start modelling this?

Nice, clean concept. I would probably rise the stock a little bit to bring it up to the Receiver (so the high difference is not that big).

good idea! i switched the stock out for a fal stock so it feels more full and less droopy

I think the stamps in the concept on the upper receiver should be a bit fatter, in the concept dem bois are thicc afff

Hey, really great work. Personally I think you take should some artistic freedom for the mag because it kinda has a waffle feel to it. It looks a little offsetting (could just be me though). Although if you really exaggerate that indent where the mag slides in (because right now its a tad bit smaller, but has the a more beveled edge rather than a sharp one) I think it will add a lot of necessary detail that will make that area feel a bit more natural.

Great start you might want to round out some of the shapes like the stock and the handle.

Looking good, I think something that could help to sell the feel of the pressed metal is to add some subtle indentation around the bolts and screws and shit like this
Also I think the magazine stamping needs some refining as it's a bit too soft imo. It's a great start tho, i'm excited to see how this will turn out
