Designed this hammer awhile back but decided to paint it instead from all the organic paintings I have done recently. I feel like the painting still looks very weak in terms of color/painting, was wondering if anyone can paint over or have some feedback! Thanks!

    really good design. 

    The painting is not that bad man. I did a paint over rather than try to spew out a bunch of words..though I do find the red energy on the steel to be distracting from the design.

    Definitely in terms of painting more, since painting is a tad new to me

    I totally see that, with your painting to minimize the sides definitely bring the focal point to the center
