maya dope sheet question

Hey all, I'm trying to copy and paste some keyframes on a rig in maya's dope sheet. For whatever reason it doesn't appear to be copying the keys from all my control curves, any thoughts?
Process:
I use Select> All By Type >NURBS Curves to grab my control handles, then in the dope sheet I use the select keyframe tool to grab all the keyframes on those handles. I then edit>copy and edit>paste them into the desired location, but it's not getting all the handles for some reason.
Using Maya 2016 btw.
