Other Topic but maybe you can help me. Why are the images much bigger
when I Upload them, the first image has 719kb on my harddrive, on
Polycount 1.22 mb. What am I doing wrong?
This is looking really great so far! Loving the foliage. The water shader is good but not great(yet) I'd suggest adding floating debris to the surface, some slight surface rippling. Just do some really in-depth research and really pull as much as you can from it.
Can't wait to see how this scene turns out, absolutely loving the vibe!
It's definitely looking better, make that water greener though!
Also I'm not sure what's happening in the centre of the picture, I can see an angular shape in the fog jutting up into one of the trees. I'm guessing it's some rocks, but it doesn't create a good silhouette - either ditch it or soften it up with a line of foliage immediately around it.
Love the screens at the top of the page (but again, some of those have those mis-placed rocks in various points)

yeah its a rock, need to pay more attention to odd shapes.
This is amazing ! Your screenshots really do look like paintings I'd add a bit of ripples to the water, as it looks a bit too "solid", though it looks really lovely nevertheless I hope I can achieve this level of art at some point in my life
id keep the previous The only thing that stands out negatively is the yellow fern things all having the same color, try some world space based color changes
@Shrike Thanks for the critic but so far I know the has CryEngine no world space based color function please tell me if I`m wrong. I tried to use two materials but this needs a soft transition.
Of the two, the last one looks better. Bit of fog on the water would fit nicely, a bit too crisp for my taste now. Think you benefit from some particle effects as well, flies and pollen and what not, for some added depth. You got a sweet scene going, just need some final touches.

the water really does look empty, I like the idea with the floating debris.
I add that some.

Not sure about making the water more green, I will loose the reflections and everthing will look just green.
Here is the new scene, also added some birch trees:

Added really small waves and tried more present ones but then I lost the straight reflections:
What do you think?
