[3DsMax] rectangular selection tool hotkey

Hey guys.

I switched to max 18 and the button Q does not what I want and what I am used to from odler versions of max. I want Q to be the selection tool and "deactivate" tools like move, rotate or scale. I want Q to be the rectangular selection only and set Q as a hotkey for that. However, that does not work.

Could you help me here? This totally worked fo me on my home version of Max, but something went wrong here at work.

I want:
Q to be rectangular selection tool (without having move/scale/rotate) active.

edit: clicking the select tool with the mouse does NOT make it the active tool anymore.

Change the keyboard shortcut for Q to Select instead of Smart Select.

In what group + category do I need to set Q as Select?

I always use All Commands, type S and scroll down until Select Object appears.

I wish Max adopted Zbrush way of assigning hotkeys. So much more user friendly. Although I use all commands as well the thee are some double entries that are annoying.
