It doesn't appear you've worked on timing yet as there's a key every 5 frames or so. Adjust the inbetweens (especially f55) to favor the antic to keep the kick feeling snappy. The recovery could use a little more attention, the kick doesn't seem to carry much weight or momentum currently. This is most evident in his arms. They go to the neutral pose too quickly. Good start!

    Hey there,

I've modified a few of the stand out things in your key poses. The biggest issue seems to be that you're not quite sure what to do with the arms during the kick, and how they help create momentum and balance.

    Hope it helps!

Edit: On second thoughts it depends what type of kick you're going for as I've seen these types of kicks done in different ways. I really like this kick:

When it comes together at the end it's really powerful, but the actual kick strike pose contradicts what I suggested in Syncsketch. You can do both ways so I guess it depends on the style you're going for.

It's super interesting seeing the reference you posted, some of the awkwardness I'm  picking up on is actually in the reference.

He doesn't look super comfortable doing it, but maybe that's just me  :D

Joe Rogan definitely does it better. Look closely at their feet and see the difference.

Rogan starts with the forward foot, back foot (R) is planted, pushing already to start the momentum for the kick. Leading foot (L) plants and pivots on the ball all the way around. The spin doesn't start until the leadig foot (L) is planted fully. The arms spread out and leads the torso to start the spin and pulls in toward the body as the spin speeds up into the kick. The right  leg is still pushing through the start of the spin. Right leg is tucked up high then thrusts out in one motion with the spin to maximize speed at time of contact. Planted foot (L) is pushing through the toes at the point of contact. Mass of the torso is inline with the kicking leg to put as much weight and momentum through the line of the kick.

The other guy starts with a little shuffle on the rear foot and already half way through the spin by the time the leading foot (L) touches the ground, the same instant the back foot leaves the ground. His arms trails behind the body through the spin, they don't do anything to add to the momentum of the action. then the little hop off the left foot in the follow through, telltale sign he's off balance. Through the entire action he never has more than one foot in contact with the ground.
