VFX in unreal engine

Hey guys,

I'm a new in VFX using unreal engine 4, however I had several basic practice concerning VFX for games overall, we are creating our second game using UE4 and I would love if someone can guide me through a tutorial link, PDF or whatever help I can get

(I'm still an amateur in VFX but Id love start from somewhere)

You can find basic information on the particle system over at the UE4 documentation:

I'd also recommend you go trough the pages there regarding materials and what not, they cover some interesting shaders that might assist you in creating nice effects.

Additionally if you go to the "Learn" tab in your Epic Game launcher you can find some example Particle Effect projects and Content Example stuff there, both include some VFX!

yes, this is what I did man, its pretty amazing actually, but still im looking for a channel on youtube or something really worth watching and learning from it, but again,  thanks man a lot

Hi Salimmatta ! I recommend you ImbueFX's videos, it's a quite old and on UE3, but it's very hepful. he explains a lot of basic for Cascade. You can also see Luos's channel. He post some tutorials in his channel ^^.
