[MAYA] How can I speed up fluid framerate without changing the animation itself?

I made a fluid animation that is 50 frames long at 24 frames per second and I'm happy with the results. The only problem is that I need this to go at 60 frames per second, and I want the same animation. If I just raise the playback to 60 fps the animation looks totally different.

Here's a still from about halfway at 24 fps.

Here's one from about the same point at 60 fps. This is bad and doesn't resemble the earlier example.

I could just cache the 24 fps animation and force it into something going at 60 fps, but that would leave lots of frames blank and the animation would look weird that way. Is there a way I can store frames at 60 fps and somehow retain the old animation I have here? Maybe a way to do the calculations quicker or something?
