Finally getting around to starting a thread for this project I've been messing with. I've been trying to get glass right in Marmoset, here are some tests, mostly differences between Antistropic settings for Reflectivity & Secondary Reflection. I'm happy with the direction its going in, but if anybody has any advice I'd be love C&C!

Updated the lights, materials, and positioning of a few things, I'm thinking the glass is done. Next & final step, animation!

Hey, this looks really good so far. Keep up the amazing work. I am loving the flowers. The glass materials are looking good, I would try working on how the edges are rendered. I am just having a hard time seeing the shape of some of the model. I think that would really help out this model and its shape definition. Another minor thing is that your hinges that are on the lid look like they have screws that are popping out. They should be recessed.

Overall nice job on the model! I would love to see you create that water material in the reference. That would look super dope!

What is the end goal of this model?

And that's a wrap! I'm calling it done.
I'm pretty happy overall with how it turned out, gave me a lot of opportunity to explore materials, lighting, animation and marmoset toolbag in general since I haven't actually used it yet. High res images and process can be found on Artstation here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/9aZYW
