Hey guys, Oscar here!, here's something I've been working on these past few months, I did it and I'll keep doing it on my free times, like before bed, also I stream the process via Twitch.

The main idea is to make kind of a 3v3 based PC Game with handpainted assets, I want to make everything low poly with a budget of 12 - 13k per character and 2048 x 2048 texture maps, diffuse only and I'll use UE4 as the engine. This is kind of a practice and to keep me motivated to keep digging and experimenting stuff I'm still a student here, I'm from Costa Rica, we don't have big schools for 3D modeling or for gaming but I keep on searching and looking for resources, Polycount has been defenetily a huge impact for me when I started using it.

As I was mentioning the main focus of the game is to be a 3V3 arena showdown between 2 teams, it's a fantasy action game, 3rd person game with spells and stuff, there will be different classes like humans, elves, orcs, goblins, ogres, and so on. Here is the concept of the first batch, I started with the humans:

First one is an herbalist, he's like the Magical / Tank guy, he carries herbs and a huge cauldron on his back then he proceeds to mix everythin up and prepare some magic spells.

Second one is a massive and strong dragon slayer, she's the bruiser of the team but she lacks defense so she carries a huge axe to slay everything and everyone.

Third one is a girl that rides a war pig mount, she uses her bow to strike fiercely strike arrows as fast as the wind.

Here's the second class I'll be working, the goblins:

These little rascals have the same basemesh, I used the different kinds of color compositions like Complementary, Monochromatic and Triadic to apply those to them. I'm still with the first class so i don't have any updates on these.

Off with the progress of the 3D:

• HIGH POLY SCULPTS:

• LOW POLY MODELS:

That's the last progress I did, I'll be posting more updates as I keep working on these, I'll really appreciate any feedback for this project as I want it to include it in my portfolio. Next will be UV's, start the AO + Curvature + Position bakes and start the setting of the base texture in order to paint in 3DCoat.

Here's more info of my social media and ArtStation, Cheers lads!
