MODO | Creating a Macro with Replay
Replay is a powerful visual tool for creating macros in MODO.
This tool is packed with amazing features that make the creation of Macros much easier than the built-in recorder. There are too many features to list here but some of my favorite are the ability to re-order the list of commands with simple drag and drop, stop a recording and start it back up again, edit values in your macro without ever looking at a line of code, suppress dialogs, and convert your macro to a python script.
In this short video, I recreate the python script, Vert Tear from the Hatchet Collection to show Replay in action. While I only touch on a few features of this amazing tool, it should help get you up and running on your first Replay macro.
