Substance for MODO 901

I'm trying to get the Substance plugin installed in MODO 903 but the substance website only has the plugin for 1001. I've installed this as some times plugin's are backwards compatible but not having much luck seeing it pop up under the "Texture" tab.
I'm running the latest, greatest build of substance
Is there any way of grabbing an older version of the plugin or have I installed this wrong?! Windows and anti virus was having a bit of a moan about it during installing ended up disabling a few bits to get the install working.
Edit - I found an install for modo902-100509_plugin_2.3.0-build252 but I get some errors about unsupported nodes. Bit of a pain!
