Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and the 3d modeling world  :p.

I started to modeling things 5 months ago with 3ds max. I also tried other programms like blender, houdini, qubicle and fusion 360. I know the basic workflow : low poly, uv, sub-d high poly, texturing in substance painter and rendering.

I'm realy interrested in hard surface, especially props modeling and I discovered Fusion 360 recently, and I love it. I found it very easy and fun to model with.

In the end of the year, I will integrate a school who teach mainly 3ds max .

Now, I'm confused on wich road to choose for a job in the game or design industry after the school  :

1. Stick with the basic workflow in 3ds max, and continue to improve my knowledge with it and get ahead for the school.

2. Modeling my hard surface in fusion, and do retopology for uv and texturing. Thinking that only the result matter and not how I did the model.

Thank you for reading :)  !
