Polycount Meet up Tokyo?

Hi everyone, I've been thinking about this for a bit of time now,

I live in Tokyo and most of the people I know doesn't have any interest in 3D .

I've seen many Polycount meet ups around the world and I was thinking that it could be cool if maybe we can do one in Tokyo. I actually don't know if there is many of people from this forum in Japan but even if we are only two it will be great to have a chat and a drink or if there is no one I will just go and get a drink by myself haha.

Anyway it will be nice if anyone might be interested in this meet up we could set something up

Was wondering about a Polycount meeting in Japan as well.
Maybe you are the first one to actually suggest it?

I only know a few people from Japan on this forum.

Yes I was thinking about it for a while.
We could set up a little Izakaya or something like that  , any ideas are welcome.

there are quite a few regular dev meetups in tokyo but don't think we ever had a formal polycount meet up, sadly I'm currently living in Osaka and not sure I can get up to Tokyo.

Dang, I am going to Japan on holiday in June, would have been cool to meet some polycounters.

@Jonas Ronnegard I guess the first one will be at the end of April but let us know if you come to Tokyo later on this year so maybe we can arrange it with everyone, what other dev meetups do you know?

I'm actually focusing hard on moving to Tokyo to teach English. At least as close as I can get. Does anyone on this board teach English there?

Any place is ok for me, as long as they don't sell Haposhu for beer

dang, I was hoping for a later date.  I'll probably still nursing my broken ankle at that time, don't think it'll heal that fast. Maybe next time... in autumn?

Both those dates should be fine for me. Anywhere central tokyo (within or close-ish to yamanote-sen) should be fine for me.

Ahh dam I missed this, great idea though. We do already have a game dev drinks, but it would be nice to do this again sometimes too.
