Hey guy,
I've never textured my 3D models, neither used Photoshop for this purpose. So I wanted to get my hands on the test-version of the Suit and give NDO & DDO a try.
Before starting with my project I wanted to ask a question which was not answered in all those tutorials. Maybe I just missed it.

When baking the Color-ID map I can assign colours/materials to different parts of the model. But is there a way I can assign materials to painted normalmaps I created with NDO?

For example these parts here:

The receiver is plastic with a very light/smooth surface structure. Those rivets have an outer (black) metal part and an inner (white/silver) metal part which is some different metal material.
When painting those rivets via NDO it will be a normalmap on top of the plastic receiver. Ergo these rivets will be displayed as plastic as well.
So my question is if there is a way to assign these normal details to a specific material/id or is there any other way I can use to get them to be metal?

Thank you very much in advance!
