3ds max, perspective view to show just Verts on a model and no edges

I have to create a effect that shows just the verts on the model and no edges. Does anyone know the best way to do this?

I ended up right clicking the model and using Vertex Tick and then putting the view to a flat color and then a transparent material on it. it sort of gets the effect im looking for
