One thing feeling really odd to me is the boots. For one thing, your soles are very flat (usually there is some curve). Secondly, you have hybrid of raised heel/flat heel which doesn't make sense in boot construction. You should go with either heel or not. I hope you don't mind, I did a paintover to show what I'm talking about.
Nice work! you have hybrid of raised heel/flat heel which doesn't make sense in boot construction.
hey thank you for your critique the medievel boots didnt have an actual sole like todays vulcanized rubber, but more likely a fat leather piece attached with stichies, wich fits the palm of the feet on every step, the inner surface of the boots are hollow let me show you with a paintover.
just
finished the sword wich is part of the warrior i am making, still
needs some minor changes but most of it its complete 41mil of polygons,
The Hellhound Cleaver
update still minor changes needed to be done plus details on unfinished subtools then i start polypainting i am using Zbrush for the whole model Modeling and polypainting
okay this is a technique i am creating to speed up things when i create low poly hair within zbrush, i like discovering new techniques and tricks to do all of my stuff within the zbrush alone, some of you might not catch it easily its a litle bit advanced trick but i will try to explane it in the process, so basicly first i am creating a simple plane, then i mask on the plane with squares where the uvs will be placed and the hair too and then i paint it with green, about the green collor i will explane later, after done that i use the curbetube brush to draw the desired hairlines, after done that i smooth the tips of the hair by a litle some more some less to have diferent variations, then i retopology on top of the hair, creating a simple hair card, so i can bake the HDpoly hair onto the cards, Now about the green collor its sopused to help me with the trasperancy process, i simply select the green collor in photoshop and where green is trasperancy will happen, but also i keep the AO shaddows and other shader tricks i do with matcaps, and now the most crazy trick hehehe i turn the cards into brush, enjoy my good folks
