Modo: Rendering Surface IDs...Or: Iam loosing my mind

Okay,
iam trying to render out a surface ID map. I figured out how to use the standard Render Outputs and how to get just the color information down. The problem iam left with is, that the renderer pumps up the color regions beyond the borders of my UV Islands. The Result is, that the colors bleed into each other and iam wondering: does this hurt AND what is causing this, considering so far i had no issues rendering out normal maps and such. It's happening in a second pass or something, since while the squares wander happily over what they are supposed to render, the borders are fine. It's when they are done, that the borders are blown out and end i end up with this. I have not changed anything about my Modo render settings or something like that.

Any ideas?
