Ubisoft employee looking for 3D Artists

Hello everyone,

My name is Peter Henry and I'm currently an employee at Ubisoft. I just helped shipped Watch_Dogs 2. If you are doubting my allegations (which you have reason to), here's a link of the credits: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8q6Ffz7pCI

You will see my name at the 1:50 mark under "Automation Programmer". You can also checkout my youtube channel:
http://www.youtube.com/codingmadeeasy or my facebook page: http://fb.com/codingmadeeasy

On there you will see that I teach people how to code and mention my life at Ubisoft a few times. Now that we've got that out of the way, here's what my team and I are working on.

We are working on a web based game engine that will be used to solve 2 essential problems in the game development world.

Issue 1: Barrier to entry. Many game engines are powerful but with that power comes complexity. We want to make a product that alleviates that complexity while retaining as much power as possible.

Issue 2: Lack of resources. This is where you come in. As programmers, it's hard to get started into game development due to the lack of art resources available on the internet. We have come up with a formula to resolve that need and hopefully get more people interested in game development and to provide people with the resources to see a product through from start to finish.

What we're looking for:

We are looking for artists in one of the listed categories below:

  • Modellers
  • Texture artists
  • Riggers
  • Animators

What this opportunity can do for you:

The programmers working on this project are professionals with a vast array of different backgrounds. We understand what it takes to take a product from start to finish. We will be using industry tools and practices in order to get this done.

By the end of this project you will not only gain additional content for your portfolio, you will gain knowledge of tools and workflows that are used in the gaming industry.

If you are interested feel free to reply to this thread or send me an email at: peterhenry20@live.com

Looking forward to working with some you
