[First time Unity user] Unity goes to black screen on startup.

Even after multiple reinstall attempts, it still get a black screen whenever I boot it, and as a side note, there was no option for Windows build support when I was selecting modules (or w/e) when I installed it. I can't seem to find any solution of any archived Unity forums.

This looks like the licensing/sign-in screen. Are you double clicking a unity file to launch? I've fixed this by launching the exe instead.

Also could be a graphics card problem. Are you using a laptop? It could have an integrated chipset for a GPU. These usually can't handle game engines. You would need to force it to use a dedicated GPU like Nvidia or AMD.
