Mortarion The Reaper, warhammer 40k fan art

Hello everyone!
I have been reading a ton of warhammer lore recently and it made me want to make one of my favorite character of the w40k universe, Mortarion The Reaper.
The goal of this project will be to make a fully rigged character for an animation.So it's gonna take a while.
My main reference is the forge world figurine :
It's still very basic with just a blockout of his armor and weapon. The head is a placeholder and will be changed.
Any advice/critiques are welcome! I really want to give justice to this amazing character!

I want to start learning substance so I'll try to use it on this project!

The Low poly and uvs are now done so I'm finally moving on to texturing.
Pretty excited to use substance painter!
Here is the low poly + wireframe of the armor
I finally finished working with painter and exported the maps to Maya for render test.Still a lot to do!
I'm also making the base of the ship now so I'll put some updates on that soon.

It was quite fun to learn substance and marmoset on the same project , still a lot to improve though.
