I went a little bit crazy with the polycount. its at around 40k Tris. Wanted to have 0 jagged edges! Can easily bring it down to around 20k without losing too much quality, but seeing that it's just a fun side project I dont see a reason to do so.
Wanted to keep it pretty clean, without too much wearN'tear.
Dropped some mats and did a little bit of texturing for some light wear/roughness variation/etc. was definitely more of a modelling practice.
Absolutely nailed the shape but would like to see a optimized version. I imagine something like this shouldn't cost more than 5-6k tries. Out of curiosity in what way did you use each texturing program for and which one do you think is better? Based on how i'm planning to approach mine i'm guessing you used quixel for ndo and substance for the other maps?
