This has been a very long and personal project for me. Being a big Metroid fan, I had a blast working on this. Sculps were done with Zbrush, renders were with Keyshot / Bridge. Final comps were all done in Photoshop.
I really like what you made. I especially appreciate the normal proportions you gave Samus (as opposed to some of the absurd ones I've seen in zero suit drawings and other 3d models, it looks so much better this way), and like the metroid you made a lot. I was making my own metroid a while back, but never finished. Yours has given me some good ideas on how to continue. Nice job!
Beautiful piece, I agree with the comments that it's nice to see realistic anatomy in a zero suit Samus for once (i could be biased though because you made her built like me haha) I also particularly dig the material separation on the suit, the contrast of shiny with more matte trim looks great.
I love the realistic body proportions. It seems ZSS is one of those characters that gets abused with the anime waifu proportions. Fantastic breath of fresh air to see her amazingly executed in a more realistic fashion!
This looks very nice but you could do more with the presentation. The Lighting and background is very even, she is symmetrical, you don't need to show of 100% of the surface on both sides, id say think about making more of an artwork not a model presentation. The weapon is hard to see against the background. The rubber parts could also be more matte, currently the materials are all very glossy. The black shadows in the face hurt a bit on the skin tone, having more red indirect light would be nice but I can see the limitation of the shaders. Or just photoshop a little red touch in the shadows. You could also experiment with the camera angle a bit. Aside very cool stuff.

really nice work on this
Nooow make your own version of the exoskelton!
(this is the style I'm tired of seeing with ZSS)
