Here is some refs. Main ref is the first one. Also I will make fur on the handle. Handle tape I want make like on second right ref.

Yup, but unfortunately I am not a character artist.
I think hummer head looks more like rock than metal in actual stage and it's not right. Maybe you should make it look more like metal? Actually I like concept versions of the Doomhammer more than movie version. If we take a look into lore it's a relic weapon and it should look more decent than shabby hummer that appear in the movie. You can see this difference in your reference here:

What looks more epic? I think concept on the left, and not only because of lightninghttps://www.artstation.com/artist/crazy_pixel

the only thing that I "don't like" is the carved emblem in the middle of the hammer head: wold have been more interesting to have an extruded symbol (as shown in the left concept art drawing). But that's ofc comes down to personal preference.
Unfortunately I have no hints about how to translate the UE4 fur into Marmoset: have you considered to model some planes to try to simulate the same effect with an alpha?

For me the carved emblem was more interesting, so it was my preference.
What about fur with alpha. Yes, I tried to make it at first like this, but I didn't get what I want. And then I found UE4 workflow, it was much faster and easy, so I decided to stop on it.
