Hey everybody!
Last week I had some free time and I decided I'd make something to give back to the community. Polycount and sites like it have provided a lot of good learning material for me over the years, and I figured maybe this will help someone else out. I noticed that I have a number of students following me on ArtStation as well, so I thought this could be a good practice piece for some of them.
I've designed, modeled, and textured this game res sci-fi revolver specifically to give away, so that others can practice texturing, or rigging and animating a weapon. The download package contains meshes for the bullets and the revolver, my example textures, and some base maps (Normals, Ambient Occlusion, Material IDs) to get you started in your own texturing adventures.
Use this stuff for whatever you want, just don't sell it or take credit for my personal work. I hope some of you guys get some good use out of it.
