PC-CSGO | AWP Apollo
Heya!
Welcome to my second entry in this contest!Lets get started with the references:
Since mankind existed they wanted to travel through space explore unknown worlds and travel too the moon, evidence was found in history, ancient books and "modern media".The outcome of this wish manifested in the "Apollo Program" in the early 70ts,
along with the "Apollo 11" Saturn V Rocket with Neal Armstrong as the first human on the moon.
Sci fi met reality!
The Design Idea
Based on a Saturn Rocket i tried to find some more sci fi influence in the Design itself, wich combined reality and virtual/comic/sci - reality in the early 70ts.More references were found in Comic's and artworks:
(Well this last image is a bit modern but it does give a good feeling for the "Plating")
The design should be a merge between these two reality's to symbolize the achievement: That as the first man stepped on the moon, the gap between sci fi and reality got minimized once more.

(The Backside of the scope was fixed, the line is now straight. I had a tiny projection issue)
