[Hand Painted] Zelda fan art - Diorama

Hi guys ! I just finished my previous diorama so I would like to create a new one !
It will be a fan art of Zelda a link to the past ( SNES ) . I will make the Excalibur scene.
This is my first pass of blocking volume + my inspiration sheet.

Of course as usually don't hesitate to tell me what do you think.

ok here a progression of the blockout. I changed a bit the scene to have more focus on Excalibur so I dropped the path with the bridge.

Hi everyone ! This is a update of my project . I finished the base , the grass floor and the grass foliage. I will add some flowers , bush and maybe mushroom to really get the feeling of "Epic forest". If you have any idea or comment about how to improve this scene , feel free to say . Hey all !! A new update with Tree + leafs + big appel like in Zelda 3 ^-^ . I have a normals problems on my tree , I created one post for that so if someone can help me about that feel free ! And of course feel free to tell me your advice about the progress.

Holy smokes, this is pretty neat! I think the size of the big apples compared to the sword is throwing me off a bit. I'm trying to remember how it is in the game, it's been a while since I've played a Zelda game or Link to the Past. This is coming along, nice foliage!

@garcellano Thanks dude ! And yeah it's true that the appel it's REALLY big if you compare to sword. This is my ref for that and as you can see the appel is the same size of the character but after all my diorama is in 3D and the game was in 2D and top view so maybe I will scale down a bit .

If other people have the same advice tell me !

Oh whoa, oh ok. I'm assuming it was better big in 2D since it might be hard to tell what it was if it was much smaller than Link's size. 
In 3D, they seems to grab my eyes more or from the start. Yeah, maybe scaling them down a bit would be good.

Nice project, really like it but if i had one thing to say is about your arch prop. The base ( the pilar) seems to be a bit thin to support the structure to me. It's just my point of view anyway ^^

Hi ! I almost finish this project but before I show you my final result I need your help to chose one logo. I would like to make a fake title screen and use this logo  to replace the watermark of Marmoset. So please help me to chose one ^-^

I agree with the apples comment. But maybe the scale and proportion of the sword are too realistic in comparison to the trees and apples?

This looks great! I wish there was something in the sky instead of white or a gray gradient, maybe a blue sky with puffy clouds.

The white sky is the brightest thing in the image and is contrasting strongly with the trees.  This draws your eyes away from the logo.  I would experiment with sky gradients like this:

I liked the original scale of the apples, but maybe that's just me. Over all this project is awesome! You should upload it to sketchfab as a little diorama. I like the logo with the sword straight up and down.

This rocks! I also agree with the previous comments about adding gradients (or something) in the sky, the white backgrounds are a bit distracting. Otherwise, I love it! Stellar work
