Starting up a WIP thread since I'm entering the new 70s and 80s style sci-fi competition!

The first skin I've been working on is designed to look like a prop from a movie, design inspiration came from looking at Star Wars and Alien set designs. I tried to make it look like it was made from different plastics.

Working on a grungy cyber punk version. The idea is the clean version above is something you'd see an officer on a spacecraft using whereas this grungy version would be used by a gang member on some dusty dystopian planet

Added some materials, I decided to tone down the colours from the concept art I did since it is supposed to be a mil-spec and I felt like the orange was too bright.

That cyberpunk MP9 is absolutely amazing. What software do you use for baking?

Thanks man! Tested the deagle in the workbench a bit, not completely pleased with it yet but it's getting there

Started work on the other version from my concept, trying to give it a subtle striped texture, like it's made from slightly different coloured plates
