Baking maps in Painter with Match by Mesh Name?

Hey all -

Been using Painter for a little bit now and I love it. Though I haven't tried baking any maps with it yet as I've just been using xNormal like I always have. But I've now come across a mesh that I need to explode in order to get a good bake, and I've heard Painter can eliminate this step entirely by using Match by Mesh Name.

A few of the tutorials I've found on the web don't really go into much detail with this, but can anyone elaborate a little more? I have my HP in ZBrush and my LP in Maya. Do they both need to have the exact same amount of pieces and does each piece need to be labeled the same thing in both programs? Then just export out both meshes as a group and import into Painter and bake?

The issue I'm having is my HP in ZBrush has more pieces than my LP since it's more detailed. This usually isn't ever an issue obviously, but I'm just trying to figure out the correct way to do this in Painter.

Thanks guys
