Been at it again getting better but need some crits

So I have started digital painting again had a few warm up sketches then painted this. I thinks its my best yet but still feel like a have a ways to go before I can be cofortable with my work. Anyways let me know what you think I am always looking for tips and techniques to improve my mind and hand coordination. This was painted using an Ipad Pro and apple pencil on Procreate... love this hardware and software so much. Bad face/ head anatomy.  Major warpage going on particularly how far you've set her left eye.  The neck looks cartoonish.  No throat.  The way you angled her head...I think her ear would be positioned lower (which makes me guess you didn't use ref ).  Look at actual photos with similar head angle to camera or viewer relationship...check how the ear is lower than what you have here.  It's like you just followed the Loomis formula of between brow ridge and tip of nose but didn't account for head angle.

Skin rendering is painted high key, flattening your face paintinng.  I thinks it needs more tonal values. The halftone values for the robe looks great, but the face... it's all "diffuse".  Every skin surface is lit up.

The rendering for the robe or kimono looks pretty good.  Hair rendering looks alright especially at the fringes.

Major issue for me, is definitely the anatomy.  Did you flip your canvas to check?  Common occurence is because most people have a dominant eye, if you dont flip check your work you'll miss some obvious errors.

Keep it up.

Thank you for your feedback i need a good kick in the ass when it comes to anatomy. I never even thought to flop the canvas shows how much of a novice i am lol.
