Environment art question

  Hello!
 
 I was wondering, does anyone know of any good 3D environment tutorials for things like trees, grass etc.  I found plenty of building tutorials, but I can't find too many on nature related tutorials.  I use Maya. 

 If anyone can help me out that would be awesome!  Thanks again!

3DMotive has a very good one that is still relevant today, it is for UDK though so when it comes to implementing the materials you'll have to adapt it for PBR.

Edit: Also check the foliage section of the Polycount Wiki, it's full of useful info.

Best bet would be to post examples here of what you've tried so far, and get constructive criticism to help you move forward.
