Photoshop for drawing / resolution

Hey ^^


I like it to draw with photoshop but somehow i feel like my resolution is off because.
sometimes the lines i draw are not as clean as they should look somehow its this kind of feeling i have :/
right now i draw with a resolution of 250 pixel/Inch and the pic is 20x 20 cm

and so I wanted to know with wich resolution other artist work :)
hope you can help me

    3840x2400, which is just 1920x1200x2, anything smaller feels like there's not enough room.

    I don't work in DPI/Inches, I use pixel canvas sizes and I just keep increasing the size of the canvas until I never have to zoom closer than 100% to get the amount of detail I want.

    Unless you are working with print, I really don't think it matters much.

    If you feel your lines aren't clean then it is probably due to the fact that photoshop doesn't have any stroke stabilization features. My paintings are messy as fuck so this makes absolutely no different to me, but if it bothers you then you could try getting LazyNezumi or trying a different painting program.

    Well i do have some different drawing programms but i like photoshop the most
    maybe i could do line art in a different programm and the coloring ect. in photoshop ^^
