Hey! been working on this shotgun, blockout pretty much done, I'm trying to get some critics on the shapes, etc before moving on to the high poly. Theres some differences between the reference 3D model and the blueprints i was able to find, so In some small areas I changed some stuff.

Done with the high poly for now, I will probably redo the weldings before baking, or just do them properly inside substance painter once i reach the texturing phase.

Looks really close to the original, the welding seams look more like mesh errors than seams tho, maybe extend them a bit towards the bot and top so its more clear from a distance what they are. They also dont seem to connect, looking more like bubble gum that is attached, but textures likely will fix that

Hey nice work on this! Aside from what Shrike already said this is coming along really nice. Although I will say your renders are a bit dark and imo don't really do justice to the work you put in. I would consider lightening them up and slightly increasing the spec.  Can't wait to see more.

Thanks for the comments and the critics guys! Hopefully I will have the bakes done in some weeks
@Shrike: I will see how good they look once the bakes are done and the normal edited. If i see they don't look right Ill go back to the hp and do them properly.
@aaronmwolford: Are they dark all around or is it a particular shoot? I didn't want it to end up to shiny or over the top.
@Gazu: I realized the heat shield was not connecting properly near the rail so I fixed it. Here's how it connects to the barrels:
