The Beast - Pig Baron

Reserving my spot - hoping to finish, but my track record is pretty bad.

Basic idea:
A fat baron who's greed has lead to a disfiguring curse.
-Pig's head
-Ornate armor
-Dark Fantasy
-Mixed materials (armor, cloth, leather...)
-Once fine garments, now in disrepair
-Curse could be from wanting to impress with material objects, or maybe just a love of "things" which lead to this situation...

Pretty quick doodles before bed, messing around with different body types - would love to hear a vote or suggestions...

A ) What I would think a human turned pig man would become. Tiny hands and feet, generally obese, normal height...can imagine this guy being more of an aristocrat type, nothing too threatening but maybe more decorative?
B ) A+bigger hands...
C ) B+ wider stance and more top heavy...
D ) More brutish. I think this is more what I had in my head originally to build around, feel like this would give enough room for the body ang gauntlets to show some nice details, have the biceps and quads covered in cloth and a nice big pig head...

Since it was my first thought, I'm leaning more towards D...but am open. What would you prefer to play as / fight against in a game? What fits the role of "Beast"? What looks the most interesting at a glance?

Awesome. I really dig C.... D is good but I feel like his arms are a touch too thick. Have you thought about pig feet? or two toes.

D has the best looking belly mass for me, but C has a better upper body. I'd go for a mix between the two.

After this, going to start thinking of some armor to put on him along with his outfit. At the moment, I'm thinking a breast plate that is now oxidized, maybe even rebound to fit his new frame...torn up aristocrat type clothing...gauntlets and general tattered rags. Basically, I want to have the impression that, before all this shit happened, he had nice things and has tried to hold on to what vanity he once had. But, because he's now been forced out and has been that way for a long time, everything is in heavy disrepair. Plus, rusted up metal and beat up things will look pretty bad ass - and I'm hoping to go more "horror" than "jovial pig man."

Debating between armor that is just naturally scary looking - like demon faces, spikes, etc. versus something more elaborate and ornate - like roses and eagles...

Duncan: Think I might try the pigs foot / hoof. At first I thought it might mess with his balance being upright, but since the feet are so small anyway - it might not be too different and would look kinda cool.

Looking badass, I like the mass of the shoulders in B, having less defined deltoids fits the character. I think trotters would really round him out.

Totally dig the costume ideas man. I would have to with A. The proportions just feel like they work better for me, but that is just me. Both are ace!

Dig the idea Gav. I am leaning towards A and ornate armor rather than spiky and demonic. I think you can make his skin and head pretty creepy to give it the scare factor and leave his armor type pieces with more of an ornate feel from his previous lifestyle, degraded over time.

Thanks guys! Started sketching a head for him this weekend. It's rough, but I like the direction it's going. Rather than going back, retopoing and detailing him up right away - which I'm tempted to do - will most likely start blocking out armor and stuff next:

I like the detailing of the sculpt progression. Step 1: Start with a sphere and two rectangles. Step 3: Make a detailed pig head. What's step 2? We're not sure, but step three is make a detailed pig head.
