I'm trying to learn more about 3D art for game development. I'm using the website digital tutors which is so far really good (1000x better than that lynda.com site at least).

This is essentially my plan of attack.

- Simple Geo Prop Creation & Texturing in 3ds max + Zbrush (e.g. battleaxe)
- Complex Geo Prop Creation & Texturing in 3ds max + Zbrush (e.g. sci-fi gun)
- Character Creation + Texturing in 3DS max + Zbrush
- Creating seamless texture
- Creating Modular assets
- Creating Stylised game environment
- Pipeline Asset Creation (with engine relevance)

The theory being I work my way up on single entity props and then start building on top of that. I feel this is a pretty solid start, but I wanted to get a second opinion, and also if anyone had knowledge of websites that they found especially useful / neccesary.

Thank You!
