Hi guys, I did some lowpoly modeling and baking test on this gun, I modeled its base in maya, made its normal map in NDO and textured it in DDo(Quixel Suite), let me know what do you think guys.
nice quick method for making assets, I really think it would benefit from a very quick highpoly bake that you can combine with your current normal map. Also the metalness map looks a bit heavy handed, the weapon doesnt look like its showing a lot of metal but the metalness map has quite a lot of it, maybe its ok, just seems odd.
thanks GED for your feedback, yes I reduced the metal intensity in my final texture, and I will definitely try to combine normal from highpoly with my current normal map
