Hi, this is my first time posting here. This is a creature I am doing as part of a school project. He is Evolve inspired and would fit in as the final state of his evolution as a big playable monster. I am currently trying to figure out his topology along the limb joints. He has carapace all over his body, so I want to maintain the form along those plates, but still be able to make the flesh behind the knee bend naturally. This is the creature I am working on.
And this is what I have done with his knee and ankle joint.
I have seen different examples of topology for elbows and knees, but I haven't been able to find anything with this kind.
