Preventing repetition fatigue?

How do you cope with doing repeating patterns for several hours, and keep the same quality all over the asset?

What I had in mind is repeating patterns that are too organic to just copy-paste all over the place - fur, scales, cracks, pebbles etc etc.

I usually just grind through it all, but I have trouble to not get sloppy after a while.

If the job does not require my full attention, I turn on some interesting podcast and listen to it while grinding through tedious task. It also quite relaxing compared to some other days, so I try to enjoy it.

i usually compile a playlist with music in languages I'm not familiar with (which is every language except for russian and english), or just dumb edm something off top20;
make sure to take regular breaks if you can.
